What Goes Inside
We're thoughtful about every ingredient that goes into our candles, because what you burn in your home matters.
Natural soy wax — A renewable, plant-based alternative to paraffin wax. Soy wax burns cleaner and longer, releasing fewer toxins into your air.
Lead-free cotton wicks — Our wicks are 100% natural cotton, free from lead and zinc, so you can breathe easy.
Pure essential oils — We use only pure essential oils to fragrance our candles, no synthetic perfumes, just nature's own aromatherapy.
Every Sea Zen candle is handmade in small batches right here in Dunedin, New Zealand. This means more care, more quality, and a smaller footprint.
How We Package
We've worked hard to make sure that from the moment your order leaves our hands to the moment it arrives at yours, we're minimising waste at every step.
Recyclable packaging — Our boxes and outer packaging are fully recyclable. Simply flatten and pop them in your recycling bin.
FSC certified labels — Our product labels are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning the paper comes from responsibly managed forests.
Sea Zen was born from a belief that the small rituals of daily life. Lighting a candle, taking a breath, being present can be powerful acts of self-care. We make our candles to support your mental well-being and encourage mindful living.
